All of Samsonite’s suitcases are covered by either a limited global warranty, a limited 3-year warranty, or a limited 10-year warranty. You probably know by now that there is also a newer version of this suitcase – the Winfield 3. And if you’re wondering what the differences are between the two, here’s what you need to know. One other thing to note about the Winfields is their shell. Even though it is not exactly the same on Winfield 2 and Winfield 3, it is smooth on both versions of the suitcase. And even with all the dents and protrusions, scuffs will be much more visible on a smooth shell than they would be on a texturized one. Although this carry-on is slightly oversized for the most common 22 x 14 x 9 size limit, most of their customers have successfully fitted the bag inside the airlines’ measuring boxes ( even though it’s a tight fit).
