Once you've met all the requirements to complete this course, you'll receive a verified Certificate of Completion. You'll learn alongside a small group of likeminded students who will be with you every step of the way. This 8 part course covers a wide range of eating occasions and you will cook alongside our skilled Leiths teachers who’ll be lifting the lid on some key fundamental cookery skills and techniques.

Along the way, you’ll pick up chefs’ tips and tricks and learn about easy kitchen organisation, recipe planning, simple presentation and much more.The accreditation weekends at Leiths school in London have a wine element to them and are only for those aged 18 and over. Once a unit is unlocked, you’ll have access to that week’s sessions and one of the great things about online learning is that you have the flexibility to choose when you want to cook.

Your class will move through the course together, unlocking a new unit each week, but don't worry if you prefer to take your time – you'll have complete control over when and where you complete each session. You'll learn how to whip egg whites to different stages of peaks to create perfect French meringue kisses. In these sessions, you'll be learning some basic bread making techniques so that you can hopefully build your intuitive baking knowledge. We'll be covering how to prepare and cook three different shellfish; mussels, prawns and squid to create some great dishes!

For the claws, use the back of a large knife or a meat pounder to crack the main claw shell, but try not to crush the claw completely if using a pounder.
